salt on my skin, sun in the air

The title of this post pretty well sums up my past week, or [to relevantly use an entirely overused label] pure awesomeness!  Yes, you heard me right - pure awesomeness.  Indeed, I've had the salt-on-my-skin, sun-in-the-air, the-world-is-preaching-the-glory-of-spring kind of week.

May I catch you up?

Now on to the importance of fresh, spring-y style!  My main focus for this spring is casual staples paired with bright pops of color.  And believe you me, your favorite bright colors can definitely brighten your whole persona!

Stripes.  Always a classic, but very prominent right now.  I found this gem of a top years ago, but it's finally getting its time to really shine!

Black denim with electric blue.  These black Levi's jeans have been an absolute Godsend of a staple.  And paired with this bright top, they get a little boost of freshness.

Winged liner.  Classic to a big, bold T.  Just freshen it up with some coral/pink blush and pretty pink lips.

Last but never least, I believe that bright lips spike your confidence tremendously.  My favorite way: pair sassy, red lips with a plain white t and jeans.  Definite go-to for summer, I can feel it.
